Framed and textured reproduction print of a George Washington portrait by Rembrandt Peale, circa 1830.  Peale painted a number of portraits of George Washington after Washington’s death, including at least two other equestrian portraits.  The 30” x 36” walnut stained wood frame is trimmed in gold beading with gold ornamental leaves at the corners.  The pale gray linen matting is edged in gold.
