Punchneedle embroidery kit for the Commander-in-Chief Flag which was flown to indicate General Washington’s presence and authority as he led the Continental Army. This easy and exciting needlework technique is a modern-day counterpart to the old-fashioned rug hooking of yesteryear. As you stitch a rich texture of tufted loops with a special needle, you are creating an heirloom project and connecting to days gone by. The kit includes preprinted design on weaver’s cloth, DMC floss and instructions. To finish this kit you will also need a three-strand punchneedle and threader and a five-inch embroidery/punchneedle hoop (not included). The finished size is 3 ½” x 3”.
