Mary Michaud has designed and handcrafted this wonderful wooden doll named Isabella, a Virginia Colonial Christmas Pedlar. The doll is dressed in clothing typical for 18th century America including a mob cap and a cape. She carries a huge basket with her wares, some of which spill out of the basket and hang over the sides. She has toys, sewing supplies, matches, necklaces, kitchenware, apples, and a holiday wreath. This marvelous wooden pedlar doll has a huge wooden doll too!
Handcrafted in Westport, Massachusetts by the Silhouette Doll Company and signed and dated by the artist.
This 12” doll is designed as a collector’s item, not as a toy.
