There are 32 wonderful little shortbread cookies in this blue and white tin with an image of George Washington’s Mount Vernon on the lid.

The cookies are made from wheat flour, butter (cream, salt), and sugar.  Net weight is 10 ounces.

Shortbread “cookies” were served in colonial times although at that time they were often referred to as “cakes”.  Shortbread cookies make a lovely hostess gift or a nice treat at tea time!
