Mount Vernon Fine Porcelain Blue Canton Teapot Nightlight

Mount Vernon Fine Porcelain Blue Canton Teapot Nightlight

Regular Price: $17.95

Sale Price: $14.99

Light your path with this fine porcelain teapot nightlight.  Blue and white Cantonware served as the “everyday china” for George and Martha Washington.  Martha bequeathed to her granddaughter, Nellie Custis, “all the blew and white china in common use.”

Tea was customarily and frequently served at Mount Vernon.  George Washington’s favorite breakfast is said to have consisted of a plate of hoecakes, swimming in butter and honey, accompanied by 3 cups of tea.

The blue and white teapot is 3 ½” tall.  On/off switch. Bulb included.
