Canterbury Bell Seed Pack

Canterbury Bell Seed Pack

Price: $3.00

Campanula Medium. Canterbury Bell is a showy annual. The bell shaped flowers bloom from May to June on two to three foot flower stalks. The two inch flowers may be white, blue, lavender or pink.

Canterbury Bells grow best in full sun. The soil should be rich, moist and well-drained. Sow seed indoors six to eight weeks before planting out into the garden. When soil temperature is 68-86 degrees germination should take 10-14 days.

Canterbury Bells were introduced into England in 1597 and were found to be growing in the American colonies in 1760.

Heirloom seeds are collected from the gardens and grounds of George Washington's Mount Vernon and cleaned and packaged by hand.
