Mount Vernon 2009 Christmas Holiday Ornament

The 2009 holiday ornament honors the Washington’s 250th wedding anniversary. The couple was married on January 6, 1759, the Feast of the Epiphany, at White House Plantation, the home of the bride’s parents in New Kent County, Virginia. The 24 kt. gold finished snowflake features a three-dimensional miniature of Mount Vernon’s East Front set on a transparent red glass circle on the front and George Washington’s cypher on the reverse.
