Sparkling snow swirling around Mount Vernon is a lovely sight, and that image is beautifully captured in this musical snow globe. At center is the mansion with the cupola atop Mount Vernon’s red roof. George Washington and his retired Revolutionary War horse Blueskin gaze over the Potomac as evening guests arrive by formal carriage to his beloved home. The base is embellished with images of the pioneer farm, the schoolhouse, the wharf, and Washington’s tomb.
The snow globe is 6 ½” tall overall filled with glittering snow. The tarnish-resistant silverplate base is 4 ½” in diameter.
When wound, the snow scene slowly spins to the classic “Carol of the Bells”.
