Mount Vernon 54-Piece Mini Travel Puzzle

Mount Vernon 54-Piece Mini Travel Puzzle

Regular Price: $4.95

Sale Price: $3.99

The image of Mount Vernon on this mini travel puzzle is attributed to Edward Savage, circa 1792.  The “View of Mount Vernon, The West Front” is one of the earliest known oil paintings of George Washington’s residence.  Completed during Washington’s first term as president, this scene shows the west front and courtyard of the Mansion, with George Washington and his family strolling along the bowling green.  “No estate in United America is more pleasantly situated than this,” wrote George Washington in 1790, only two years before this view was painted.  In 200 years, no home in America has surpassed the Mount Vernon Mansion for its elegance and beauty.
When completed, the 54 piece puzzle measures 6 5/8” x 5”.
Due to the small size of the pieces this puzzle is not recommended for children under age 3.
