The design for this laser engraved crystal pendant is inspired by the colonial symbol of hospitality, the pineapple. In the eighteenth-century, merchants and sea captains returning from the West Indies presented the rare pineapple as a gift of friendship and hospitality. George and Martha Washington were well known for their generous hospitality and served pineapple at Mount Vernon.
The crystal pendant has a height of 1”, a width of ¾”, and a depth of ¼”. The silver-tone metal serpentine necklace with lobster claw closure adjusts from 18” to 20”.
