Silver was an important part of the 18^th century household and collecting charms and small silver mementos was as popular then as it is today. 

This sterling silver design was inspired by or adapted from artifacts in the collection at Mount Vernon.

The sterling silver pineapple is the colonial symbol of hospitality.  The three-dimensional pineapple charm is ¾” tall and 3/8” wide.  An O-ring for easy attachment to a charm bracelet is included.
