Cherry Pie Flour Sack Towel

Cherry Pie Flour Sack Towel

Price: $9.95

George and Martha Washington, ever the figures of hospitality, welcomed a seemingly endless parade of visitors to their home.  The Washingtons and their guests enjoyed a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables from the gardens at Mount Vernon as well as fish and meats caught and cured on the estate.  Mrs. Washington was an avid baker and General Washington is believed to have had a “sweet tooth”.  Cherry trees grew at Mount Vernon and the cherries, along with other fruits, were picked and baked into Martha Washington’s delicious pies.

This colorful towel is printed with illustrated instructions for making a perfect fresh cherry pie.  The 30” x 30” towel is 100% cotton.  Machine washable.

Made in the USA of fine Egyptian cotton.
