This classic bracket was inspired by an antique wall bracket made about 1760 in England.  The graceful support is in the style of a late Baroque cabriole leg, a popular 18th century furniture style replicating the gentle S-curve but providing sturdy balance.  Used singly, this decorative shelf is the ideal complement to the Chippendale looking glass, or display in pairs for an elegant decorative statement.  The shelf is 12 ½” x 8” and the support is 8”.  Solid maple with warm mahogany finish.
