Limited Edition of 1500 Plates. Important buildings and objects from the Washington’s lives are depicted on the rim of this limited edition, gold edged, white porcelain plate.  The outlines you see on the plate have been transfer-printed and carefully applied to the rim of the plate using a technique developed in England in the 1750’s. Each plate is hand-painted with individually mixed colors created from then finest porcelain overglazes.
The images include the west and east fronts of Mount Vernon, the Powel Coach, the 16-sided barn, the upper and lower garden houses, the wharf, the greenhouse, the Texas Gate, the Slave Memorial, and the Washington’s tombs.

Plates are signed and numbered by the artist in 22k gold.  These unique plates are gift boxed with an information card describing the paintings and the painting technique used.  Plate has a 7” diameter.  Decorated in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
