Did George Washington have wooden teeth? 

George Washington had false teeth, but they were not made of wood. He had several different sets of dentures, only one of which is still complete.  That remaining set of teeth which is made from human and cow teeth and elephant ivory, set in a lead base, with heavy metal springs, is in the collection at Mount Vernon.
