MOUNT VERNON, Va. – Mount Vernon Estate & Gardens welcomes historian Joseph Ellis, one of the nation’s foremost scholars of American history, for a book signing on October 13 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Shops at Mount Vernon. Joseph Ellis is the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of Founding Brothers. He also authored the book His Excellency about George Washington. Admission is free, however Ellis’ books must be purchased from the Shops at Mount Vernon on October 13 or have a Mount Vernon receipt in order to be signed.
