Cylindrical jug molded in the form of a bamboo cane with a flaring mouth and pouring lip and a bamboo-shaped handle on an integral foot ring, decorated in overglaze polychrome enamels and gilt. Each side is decorated with a stand of bamboo having three sets of applied leaves. The front of the jug, under the spout, features a dragonfly, cicada, and flowers. The sides are decorated with butterflies and flowers. The handle is painted dark green and decorated with two sets of light green bamboo leaves. The rim is gilded.
