Event Showing On

In an effort to connect our network with relevant and accessible topics that drive the everyday decisions of the Historic House Museum professional, we have created a summit that we are hopeful becomes an annual event.

Leadership will be our overarching topic for the Summit to be held at Mount Vernon, the Historic Estate of our founding father; The Education Center and Museum, and the Fred W. Smith Library for the study of George Washington.

Each day will focus on a keynote speaker with several smaller lectures and workshops to strike a balance between theory, discussion, networking and practice. Estate access, Mansion Tours and admission to our new interactive BeWashington interactive leadership game are included.

This Summit is co-hosted by the Mount Vernon Ladies Association and the American Alliance of Museums and our Historic House and Sites Network. Registration is limited to the first 100 to register. Registration will open in February on the AAM website.
