This concert will include a selection of Christmas music from the early American era, tunes that George and Martha Washington would have been very familiar with.

Dr. David Hildebrand teamed up with his wife, Ginger, in 1980, and the duo began researching, performing, and recording early American music in 1985. They present concerts and educational programs throughout the country for museums, historical societies, public schools, and universities. Mount Vernon, as well as the National Gallery of Art, the National Archives, and Colonial Williamsburg, are among their many sponsors. The Hildebrands provided soundtrack materials and served as periodic music consultants for the PBS series Liberty! – the American Revolution. More information on the Hildebrands is available at colonialmusic.org.
