Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant

The charming Mount Vernon Inn restaurant serves lunch daily and elegant candlelit dinners Monday through Saturday. The Inn offers six intimate dining rooms, two with fireplaces, all with colonial charm, costumed servers, and delicious regional and colonial cuisine.

Admission tickets to Mount Vernon are not required for the Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant. Please see 'Hours of Operation' for restaurant schedule variations.


Hours of Operation

Lunch:
11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.

From January 1 - March 12, lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. and concludes at 2:30 p.m. Reservations are not available for lunch except on Easter, Mother's Day, and Thanksgiving, when a buffet is served and reservations are required. The Mount Vernon Inn is closed on Christmas Day.

Dinner:
5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday and
5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

There is no dinner service available on Sunday evenings. Reservations are recommended 703-780-0011.

  • Wednesday, May 8th
    Inn CLOSED for Lunch due to prior group reservations.
    Dinner will begin at 5pm.
  • Sunday, May 12th
    Mother's Day Buffet. By reservations ONLY
  • Friday, May 17th
    No service due to a private event.
  • Saturday, May 25th
    Lunch seating ends @ 2:30pm (space available).
    No Dinner Service due to a private event.
  • Sunday, May 26th
    Lunch seating ends @ 2:30pm (space available).
  • No Dinner Service.

All hours and availability are subject to change without notice. Alternatively, The Mount Vernon Food Court is always open for lunch.

The Inn does not accept reservations for lunch.
