Position: Transportation Coordinator (10 month/Salaried)

Mount Vernon's Guest Services department is looking for a Transportation Coordinator. This position is categorized as 10 month salaried with benefits (40 hours/week for 44 of 52 weeks/year compensated on a pro-rated basis. This crucial position supervises a small staff and includes coordinating Shuttle Service on and off the estate as well as the arrival of all boats that dock at the Mount Vernon Wharf. The position requires basic nautical knowledge, physical aptitude and the ability to work in adverse weather conditions. Qualified candidates would posses a positive, team oriented attitude with the ability to function independently. Supervisory and training experience and computer literacy is necessary. Candidate must either have a CDL or be willing to obtain one. Weekend, holiday and some evening work will be required. Uniform attire will be provided.
