Mount Vernon, VA – Mount Vernon invites you to join in an unforgettable evening of wine, history, and delectable food on Friday, March 9, at 6:30 p.m. The Mount Vernon Inn’s inaugural wine dinner, A Well-Stocked Cellar: Dinner and Wine Tasting at Mount Vernon, begins with a private reception and remarks from Mount Vernon staff. Following the reception, guests will move up to the Mansion for a private tour that includes Washington’s cellar. A Well-Stocked Cellar: Dinner and Wine Tasting at Mount Vernon concludes with a special four-course dinner at the Mount Vernon Inn with historic commentary between courses from Mount Vernon staff. Carefully selected fine wines, port, and Madeira wine similar to what would have been enjoyed by the Washingtons will be paired with the courses.
Tickets are $110 and include tax and gratuity. Available beginning February 1 through www.MountVernon.org or 703.780.2000. This event is limited in capacity.

Hours of operation: April-August, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; March, September, October, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; November – February, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Regular admission rates: adults, $15.00; senior citizens, $14.00; children age 6-11, when accompanied by an adult, $7.00; and children under age 5, FREE. Admission fees, restaurant and retail proceeds, along with private donations, support the operation and restoration of Mount Vernon.
