The Connoisseur Society

The Connoisseurs are dedicated to supporting the acquisition, preservation, and conservation of Mount Vernon’s rich and diverse collections. Members share an interest in George Washington, and many are collectors of eighteenth-century books, manuscripts, fine and decorative arts. They support collections acquisitions and projects with an annual contribution of $5,000 or more, meet annually, and are invited to special curatorial tours and presentations.
