The Washington Library is open to all researchers and scholars, by appointment only.
As part of the award package, fellows will reside in The Richard and Helen DeVos House, a scholars’ residence, located on the grounds of the Washington Library.
The building consists of accommodations for eight fellows, a common kitchen, living room, and dining area.
Fellows have access to the resources housed in the Washington Library and the support of specially-trained staff.
By living and studying at George Washington’s estate, fellows will connect and collaborate with Mount Vernon’s on-site experts.
