 The Washington Library hosts numerous programs every year, welcoming scholars of all levels who share our dedication to generating and disseminating knowledge about early American history. This series is an opportunity to go behind-the-scenes with these scholars for an in-depth look at the work they do to build a more complete understanding of our shared American history.

Host, Dr. Doug Bradburn (center)The series is hosted by Dr. Doug Bradburn, Founding Director. He has been at the helm of the Washington Library since it opened in 2013. In addition to overseeing the safeguarding of original Washington books and manuscripts, he works to foster new scholarly research and oversees the Library's leadership and education initiatives.
