Presenter Larry Earl addresses the subject of slave life at Mount Vernon

Focusing on George Washington and his times, Mount Vernon field trips for students in grades K-12 are designed to address the interests and learning styles of students at different age levels. Developed in collaboration with classroom teachers, they also address the specific learning standards of Washington, D.C., area school districts in ways that are fun and engaging for all students.
