Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches
  • 2 cups dry white wine
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon curry powder
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced (for garnish)
  • Directions

    Place peaches in boiling water for 1 minute. Peel, halve, stone and purée in blender. Transfer to a pan and add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; simmer 10 minutes. Let soup cool. Chill. Garnish with thinly slice d orange.

    Serves 4
