Ingredients

  • 12 ounces green beans
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon crushed, dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Directions

    Snap off ends of beans and remove strings, if any. Soak in ice water for at least 1 hour. Drain and cook in steamer for 5 to 8 minutes, until bean are tender but still crisp and bright green. In a saucepan melt butter, add rosemary and beans and toss lightly. Add salt and freshly ground pepper to taste.

    Serves 4
