Ingredients

  • 1 quart buttermilk
  • 1 cup fresh lump crabmeat
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 level teaspoon sugar
  • 1 cup peeled, diced cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh dill
  • or 2 teaspoon dry dill
  • Directions

    Mix all ingredients and chill for as long as possible before serving. Serve with a thin slice of cucumber, not peeled, on top with a sprinkling of paprika.

    Serves 5 to 6
