Ingredients

  • 3 ripe Anjou pears
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup mincemeat
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons brandy
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Sour cream
  • Directions

    Wash 3 pears. cut in half lengthwise and core. Mix mincemeat, lemon juice and brandy. Butter a 9-inch pie plate. Put water in bottom of plate. Put 3 tablespoons of the mincemeat mixture into each pear. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve with sour cream passed separately.
