Name: Fresh Spinach Salad with Sweet Salad Dressing
Yield: Serves 4 to 6
Ingredients: 1 large package fresh spinach; 1 can Mandarin oranges, well-drained; 8 cup crisp bacon, crumbled; Sweet Salad Dressing; 1/4 cup sugar; 1 cup salad oil; 1/2 cup catsup; 1/3 cup cider vinegar; 2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce; 1 medium onion, grated

Ingredients

1 large package fresh spinach

1 can Mandarin oranges, well-drained

8 cup crisp bacon, crumbled

Sweet Salad Dressing

1/4 cup sugar

1 cup salad oil

1/2 cup catsup

1/3 cup cider vinegar

2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 medium onion, grated

Directions

Sweet Salad Dressing: Make the dressing a day ahead or quadruple it and keep on hand. Chill 24 hours before serving.

Salad: Wash the spinach carefully, removing all coarse stems. Dry completely. Combine in a salad bowl with the Mandarin oranges and crumbled bacon. Toss with Sweet Salad Dressing which has been mixed and chilled in advance.
