Ingredients

  • 2 quarts cranberries
  • 7 cups sugar
  • 1 pound seedless raisins
  • 2 large oranges, cut up with slivers of peel (no white part)
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon cloves
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Directions

    Place all ingredients in a large pot. Mix and cook over a slow fire until cranberries pop and mixture becomes transparent (about 30 minutes). It keeps well and can be frozen.

    Yields 5 pints
