Ingredients

  • Sauce (1 3/4 cups)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 thin lemon slices
  • 3/4 cup port wine
  • 2 cups blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Cantaloupe, peeled and sliced into rings.
  • Directions

    In a small saucepan combine sugar, cornstarch, lemon slices and wine. Simmer about 5 minutes or until dear. Remove from heat. Remove lemon, add blueberries and chill thoroughly. Spoon ice cream into melon rings and top with the chilled blueberries.
