Mount Vernon Salutes Veterans

In honor of our nation's veterans, Mount Vernon admits FREE all active duty, former, or retired military personnel on this day.  Honored guests are also invited to place a flower at Washington’s Tomb where the Sons of the American Revolution and the Daughters of the American Revolution present a wreathlaying ceremony in honor of our nation's veterans. Special activities include a free patriotic community concert by the all-veteran barbershop chorus The Harmony Heritage Singers in the Robert H. & Clarice Smith Auditorium at 11 a.m.

Mount Vernon Salutes Veterans is included in regular estate admission: adults, $17; children ages 6-11, $8; and children 5 and under are admitted free.
