Father’s Day Weekend at Mount Vernon

Mount Vernon invites visitors to spend Father’s Day with the Father of Our Country! “General Washington” greets visitors and poses for photographs on Father’s Day weekend. Washington also discusses his role as husband, stepfather, and Father of Our Country in the program "Father to the First Family." This program will take place at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on the bowling green in front of the Mansion.

 

This event is included in regular estate admission: adults, $17; children ages 6-11, $8; and children 5 and under are admitted free.
