Yards Brewing Company Beer Dinner

SOLD OUT

George Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate, Museum & Gardens and Philadelphia's own, Yards Brewing Company, makers of the Ales of the Revolution, have partnered to bring history and food together for a Colonial Beer Dinner on October 27, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The evening will begin with a beer reception, featuring Yards’ Brawler, a classic British Mild Ale, paired with tasty appetizers from Mount Vernon Inn Chef Richard Thompson, and guided after-hours tours of George Washington’s Mansion. Guests will also enjoy exclusive access to The Shops at Mount Vernon. During the four-course dinner in the Mount Vernon Inn, Tom Kehoe, founder/ president of Yards, will discuss the pairing of Yards' Ales of the Revolution with the colonial-inspired menu featuring venison tenderloin, duck, and one of George Washington’s favorite dishes, hoecakes.

Tickets are $95 and can be purchased at MountVernon.org, in person at the Ford Orientation Center, or by calling 703-780-6868.  This special event is limited in capacity, and advanced registration is required.
