Open both Christmas and New Year's Day! See the Mansion adorned simply with fresh greenery, hear stories about how George and Martha Washington celebrated the holidays at Mount Vernon and take home Martha Washington's "Great Cake" recipe. Visitors are also invited to tour the third floor of the Mansion - exclusively open during The Holidays at Mount Vernon. For the 12 Days of Christmas visitors may enjoy complimentary hot cider and other activities await on the grounds, from December 26th through January 6th.
