C-SPAN Filming Live at Mount Vernon with John Ferling

On July 5, C-SPAN will be filming live at Mount Vernon in the Donald W. Reynolds Museum. BookTV will feature author and historian John Ferling on In Depth. Mr. Ferling is the author of nine books, including A Leap in the Dark: The Struggle to Create the American Republic, which was the recipient of the 2004 Fraunces Tavern Book Award for best book on the American Revolution. His most recently published title, in bookstores now, is The Ascent of George Washington: The Hidden Political Genius of an American Icon. John Ferling is professor emeritus at the University of West Georgia where he taught for 33 years.
