Listen to charming early-American musicians in the upper and lower gardens. 10:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m.: Meet Lady Washington and friends, and enjoy the 18th-century music of The Itinerant Band in the Upper Garden.10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. & 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.: Sheep Shearing at the Farm Visit the George Washington: Pioneer Farmer site to watch Mount Vernon's sheep get a haircut. 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. & 3:00 p.m.: Garden & Landscape Tours Partake in a 30-minute guided tour of George Washington's remarkable gardens and grounds. Tours depart from the Mansion Circle. 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. & 3:00 p.m.: Lady Washington Salutes Mothers! Join the "Mother of Our Country" as she shares her insights as mother to her children, grandchildren, and her country in the Little Theater. 12:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m.: Dancing in the Garden Learn traditional 18th-century dancing from costumed interpreters in the Upper Garden.
